A Toast TO Your Host | Coffee Edition

I can't help but get excited for the holiday season! With 2 friendsgivings lined up, and a traditional thanksgiving dinner at home, it's both exhausting and something to look forward to. Yet, the question always remains...

What do I bring?

Since I work at a specialty coffee roaster, what better way is there then to gift my friends and loved ones coffee from the place I'm most thankful for this year (and hopefully it'll keep me awake long enough to enjoy each moment)!

Coffee always brings people together and the same can be said of the Holidays! Community is a theme coffee and holidays share. They both are meant to be shared with loved ones, friends, or even strangers. In Ethiopia, their is an entire ceremony devoted to coming together as a community and sharing coffee with one another. In America you'll always find a group of people congregating in a coffee shop. Even my grandfather spends 1 morning every week, at a local cafe with a group of his friends. He has kept up with this tradition for close to 10 years now, and I think that's pretty awesome! I couldn't think of a more appropriate host gift this year.

So whether your trying to survive the holidays, or spend as much time as possible with friends or family, make sure you bring the coffee! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Bottoms up!

p.s. Here is a great guide on how to brew the perfect Chemex coffee!
