WHAT YOU NEED
- Water Kettle
- Hario V60 Filter – white
- V60 – A cone shaped dripper
- Hot Water 195°- 205°
- One Village Coffee (Whole Bean)
- Carafe or Mug
Fill kettle with purified water and boil.
Fold the filter paper along the textured edge, then place in the V60 cone.
Wet the paper filter, then discard the water.
Measure out 30 grams of coffee, grind using a medium fine setting, and place in the V60 cone.
Pour 60 grams of water (twice the weight of beans) in a circular motion till your scale reads 90 grams, and let the beans bloom for 30-40 seconds.
After the beans have bloomed, pour the water in a circular continual speed until you reach 500 grams. This should take about 3 minutes.
After all of the water has filtered down, throw the grounds and filter into the compost, and enjoy your cup of coffee!
