About
At One Village Coffee, our goal is to roast premium coffee that also makes a difference.
But we understand a great cup of coffee doesn’t just happen by accident. It’s something you have to create. Craft roasting is the art of taking the raw coffee bean and applying various degrees of heat for a specified amount of time to attain the best flavor from each origin and blend. Why do we craft roast? It’s simple - we want you to join us in enjoying fresh, premium coffee.
Not only do we strive to create an exceptional cup of coffee in every roast, but we also believe our coffee is only as good as the communities we support. And so as a growing coffee company, we’re committed to helping communities both locally and internationally.
And it begins with raising our standard for coffee beyond just taste. It means supporting and partnering with organizations doing unique community development projects around the world.
STAFF:
Steve Hackman is the President/CEO of One Village Coffee. To sum Steve up in three words it would be “Steve is amazing.” Lives are more enriched by knowing Steve. He provides encouragement to One Village Coffee on a daily basis and is part of the drive to continue to move us forward. Some more formal information, prior to starting One Village Coffee, Steve helped start two multimillion-dollar respiratory companies in the Philadelphia tri-state area. As well as acting as President/CEO of One Village Coffee, Steve also is the US Representative of Fundraising for Stephen’s Children.
Scott Hackman is part owner of One Village Coffee and also holds the role of Sales Director within the organization. For those of you who are wondering, the answer is “Yes. Scott is Steve’s son.” Scott is the second major player in the drive to continue to move us forward. He is inspiring to be around. Some may call him crazy, but we call him brilliant.
Woody DeCasere is the Chief Roaster for One Village Coffee. I guess you could say he is the “creative one” of the group (although others are creative too). He develops all of our blends and roast levels with Aaron Peazzoni. Pretty much he makes sure our coffee is amazing. We have heard that people like it, so I guess he is doing his job.
Aaron Peazzoni is the Operations Director for One Village Coffee. He is the brain behind the operation. He makes sure when people ask for their coffee, they get their coffee. He also brings a bit of calmness to the group and a sense of sarcasm when it is needed most. One Village Coffee wouldn’t be who it is today without Aaron’s input. Yeah for Aaron!
Rob Altieri is a Sales Representative for One Village Coffee. Rob is a prospector king and is always the one that dresses the nicest around the office (shirts, ties, and even tight sweaters). Rob also consistently gets the “fun meter” award. In other words, he brings on the humor and everyone else just laughs (when you are in a start up business, that is important to do).
Andrea Hackman is the Administrative Director for One Village Coffee. And, no, Andrea is not Steve’s daughter. However, she is married to Scott. Andrea is the “go to girl” in the office to get things done. She helps with finances, administration, and marketing.
