    FARMERS

Villager is an exceptional blend featuring the finest organic beans sourced from the lush landscapes of Colombia and Ethiopia. Both of these are washed process coffees grown by smallholder farmers. This harmonious pairing creates a coffee that captures the essence of both regions, delivering a truly unique taste experience.

Coffees in Sidama, Ethiopia grow naturally as this is near the birthplace of coffee. Farmers deliver their cherry to central washing stations where the cherry is pulped, fermented, and washed, then laid out to dry in the sun on raised beds. This process highlights the clean and delicate notes we love - fresh citrus, peach, lemon, and vanilla.

Colombia coffees are processed on the farm, as each farmer has their own pulping machines, fermentation tanks, and drying beds/patios. We buy from organic producers in Nariño and Tolima. These coffees are higher in acidity with notes of chocolate and cherry.

    ROASTERS

Villager stands as the epitome of delicate refinement in the world of coffee. At the heart of its flavor profile lies a mesmerizing sweetness reminiscent of raw sugar, honey, and the ripest of cherries. With floral accents dancing delicately and a vibrant citrus acidity that adds depth, Villager is a symphony of flavors waiting to be savored.

We roast this on the lighter end of medium to highlight the sweetness and acidity that this blend has to offer. This leaves a cup that has little to no roasty flavors.

    “The aroma and the taste!”

    “Flavor and consistency.”

“I prefer light roast and yours was the roaster of all I tried, that did it well. I liked that it was a B corporation. At the time I liked that I was buying local. When I moved to Massachusetts I just kept up with the practice.”
