We are proud to offer coffee from the Cafe Mesa de Los Santos Estate. Cafe Mesa de Los Santos is produced in eastern Colombia in the rolling hills of the Santander region in the town of Los Santos. Over 100 years ago, Temlo J. Diaz founded this estate and his legacy continues today through his grandson, Oswaldo, who adheres to his life-long pricnciples: generosity, integrity, and the search for perfection.
By purchasing coffee from Cafe Mesa de Los Santos, One Village Coffee supports a fair compesation program that pays wages well above the Colombian minimum salary to the 310 hardworking campesinos producting this coffee. Other benefits to the workers are: free health care for the workers and their 548 family members, education allowance for children, insurance coverage for temporary or permanent work disability, and a pension fund to provide retirement benefits.
