Three Ways To Enjoy Peru Cold Brew

Last year when we launched our Peru Cold Brew coffee in collaboration with BKON, we were thrilled to have such a tasty offering as part of our lineup. It’s cold brew season again and we’re enjoying this beverage just as much as we did last year. We started thinking about all the different ways you can enjoy cold brew and, after much thought, we wanted to share our top three recipes with you! Also, if you don’t live close enough to One Village Coffee to be able to purchase the canned cold brew coffee, never fear. All of these recipes can be adapted with your own homemade cold brew!

Cold Brew Over Ice

That’s right, we love our Peru Cold Brew so much that one of our favorite ways to enjoy it is simply served over ice. This option is perfect for someone who wants a classic coffee experience. 


Cold Brew Float

Inspired by the affogato-- espresso served over ice cream -- this drink combines the rich coffee flavor of cold brew with the creamy, sweet flavor of ice cream to make a delicious dessert-like drink.

Ice cream of your choice

Seltzer water

Put two or three scoops of ice cream in a glass. Pour a splash of seltzer water over the top - this will make the ice cream start to foam as it would in a traditional float. Then fill the rest of the glass with cold brew and enjoy! 


Cold Brew Cola 

This drink is perfect for those who like something a little different. Coke and cold brew work really well together because they balance each other. The cherries and lime also complement one another making this a super caffeinated, tasty drink.

Lime wedge

Maraschino cherries, plus some of the maraschino syrup from the jar (about a tablespoon)

Fill a glass half full with ice. Then fill the glass ⅔ with Coca Cola. Fill the rest of the way with cold brew. Add cherries and maraschino syrup. Squeeze the lime wedge and drop it in the drink. Stir and enjoy.
