Nordico is our flagship espresso. It stands on its own as a syrupy straight shot, and really shines with steamed milk. It is sweet and deeply chocolatey, with hints of berries, orange, cinnamon and hazelnut. The finish is all complex, lingering chocolate. This blend is also fantastic as a brewed coffee or iced coffee!
Nordico is built around stellar Brazilian coffees from small family farms in the Sul de Minas region. The exporter Legendér Specialty Coffees is doing great work in Brazil building relationships with growers, connecting them with good prices in the marketplace, separating quality, and ultimately exporting the coffee. These are the best Brazilian coffees we’ve ever had here at One Village coffee, they’re rich and chocolaty with a kiss of sweet fruit! The current Brazilian lot comes from a farm called Sitio Gamelao. With the Brazil, we’re pairing Peru Finca Cinco Corazones, one three coffee farms operated by our Peruvian partners Shared-X. This is the first season they’re exporting coffee from the farm and the coffee is tasting fantastic, we think there are great things in the future for Cinco Corazones!
