Peru Finca Cinco Corazones

We’re thrilled to present our first offering from Finca Cinco Corazones, one of three coffee farms operated by our Peruvian partners Shared-X. Last year we debuted our vertically integrated coffee from one of their sister farms, Finca Matapalo, which we’ll be offering again in early 2020. Now in its fifth year of operation, Cinco Corazones is producing coffee on about half of its 300 hectares. The fields are planted mostly with the Caturra variety along with Bourbon, Gesha, and H1 varieties. On site they’re operating a wet mill and mechanical driers, plus they recently installed 100 meters of raised African beds for drying coffee. Cinco Corazones delivers a creamy, sweet cup of coffee with notes of cocoa powder and dark complex sugars. Rounding out the profile are some vibrant accents of citrus and peach.
