The Story
This coffee comes from producers in the Gatama Muka community in Shakiso town in the Guji district of southern Ethiopia. This is a natural (AKA dry) processed lot meaning after the coffee cherries are harvested they are dried whole for 15-20 days, then the seeds are removed just before export. The resulting cup is what we lovingly refer to as a fruit bomb. Flavor notes of ripe fruit ranging from apricot to watermelon to strawberry spill out of the cup. Yum!
