Lucia Maria da Silva Dias (AKA Tuca Dias) is a passionate and creative coffee producer and with her dedicated team at Santa Alina (more infos) she is committed to producing a wide variety of high-quality coffee. Fazenda Santa Alina has been in Lucia’s family for well over 100 years and before taking over the farm in 2010 Lucia had a successful career as an architect working in the São Paulo. Not wanting the farm to fall out of the family and cease coffee production Tuca made the courageous decision, with little coffee experience, to return to Santa Alina and take over operations at the family farm.

Fazenda Santa Alina is renowned for producing some of the region’s finest coffee and Tuca, along with her business partner Rodrigo, is essential to this ongoing excellence. In addition to producing some truly fantastic coffee, Tuca is constantly trying to improve and democratize daily operations at Santa Alina, with an innovative bottom up management style.
