This coffee comes to us from Cooperativa Agraria Y Servicios Multiples Café Amojú, a small co-op formed in 2016 in the Cajamarca region of northern Peru. The co-op draws its name from the Rio Amojú, an important river that flows though the region. Members of Café Amojú see themselves as protectors of the soil and crops for future generations. Their deeply personal commitment to sustainability informs their day-to-day organic farming practices.
In the cup, this coffee is balanced and easy drinking. It features notes of brown sugar, chocolate, with hints of almond, pear, and orange. Bottoms up!
